GRANTS PASS—With summer officially here, the time is ripe to head out to the links and explore some of southern Oregon’s best golf courses.

NewsWatch 12’s Golf Tip of the Week is at Grants Pass Golf Club, as head professional Jeff Ott takes us through the most challenging hole on the back nine.

“I'm going to choose a club that I know I can hit fairly straight, get it in play off the tee,” he said. “I’ll try to avoid the trouble on the right, giving myself a chance to have a good second shot into a very small green that is protected with a water hazard on the right side."
