GRANTS PASS -- When playing Hole 9 at Grants Pass Golf Club, you have to take your skill level into consideration when planning out your shots. If you're a lower handicap player, you can play it more aggressively. If you're a higher handicap player, you should just be aiming for the fairway off the tee and be looking to pick up small chunks of yardage along the way.
With water and a hidden bunker to the left of the green, getting it onto the fairway gives you the best chance to aim to the right of the pin onto the multi-level green. If you hit a good first shot, using a 5, 6, or 7-iron can be effectively for getting you onto the green in three shots.
