Crater HC Chris Schmerbach Discusses Second Straight Trip to State Tournament

Behind a double double from sophomore Nate Bittle, Crater blew out Putnam on Friday and now sets its sights on the state tournament.

CENTRAL POINT—The Crater boys basketball team is headed to the OSAA state tournament for the second year in a row after a dominant win over Putnam on Friday in the round of 16.

Head coach Chris Schmerbach joined NewsWatch 12’s Jake Garcia in studio to discuss his team’s performance and look ahead to Wednesday’s quarterfinal.
