MEDFORD, Ore. -- Jackson County Public Health says the COVID-19 vaccines available in the U.S. are not linked to any antigens, though one woman has broken out in hives every night since receiving her second dose of the Moderna vaccine.
Jasmine Hunn was qualified to get vaccinated as an in-home educator. She says after the first dose, she broke out into hives that only lasted one day, but since her second dose the hives have become more severe along the side of her face and neck.
Hunn says she never experienced allergies to food, animals, pollen, or medication. After her second dose, she went to get multiple allergy tests and each one came out to be clear, though medical staff told her the break-out was likely linked to the vaccine.
