GRANTS PASS, Ore. -- A woman is in the Josephine County jail in connection to a trailer fire that happened at around 8 p.m. Tuesday night.

Grants Pass Department of Public Safety Police and Fire Rescue responded to a small travel trailer on fire on 2nd Street. The fire was quickly put out with only the trailer being destroyed and no injuries were reported.

Police say witness statements described a woman leaving the trailer before the 911 call.

Elise Degraffenreid was arrested after being spotted near the area of the fire, and police say she is known to frequent the area. She was lodged in the Josephine County Jail for Arson 2 and Tampering with Evidence.

GPDPS says the total value of damage to the trailer is still being determined.
