MEDFORD, Ore. -- Adults are sometimes hesitant to get involved when a child is being sexually harassed or abused but Tammi Pitzen, the Executive Director at Children's Advocacy Center, says that she encourages adults to file a report, even if they only suspect something is wrong.
Anyone can file a report that then initiates an investigation by law enforcement. If evidence is found that sexual abuse has occurred then the child can be referred to the advocacy center.

One a client at the Children's Advocacy Center the child can receive medical evaluations, therapy and support from a team of professionals.
