MEDFORD, Ore. -- The Better Business Bureau is warning about tech support scams.
The report says consumers are typically lured into the scheme in 4 ways:

- Pop-up ad on a computer,
- Ransomware attached to an email,
- Internet searches for technical support on sponsored links
- Unsolicited phone call from a "technican" claiming to have detected problems with the user's computer
