UPDATE: Rocky Fire fully contained

The grass fire grew to be 17 acres.

BIG SPRINGS, Cali--

Cal Fire says the Rocky Fire in Siskiyou County is fully contained. The final acre size was 17 acres. The cause of the fire is still under investigation. There were no evacuations. No one was injured by this fire.

There is a 17 acre grass fire in Siskiyou County. Cal Fire is calling it the Rocky Fire.

As of Saturday morning the fire is 70 percent contained. Crews worked over night to gain as much containment as possible. There are no evacuations. No one is injured. 

On Cal Fire Siskiyou Unit's Facebook page it said, "Fire resources will remain on scene throughout the day as they continue to mop up hot spots and strengthen control lines."

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
