GRANTS PASS, Ore. -- Grants Pass Public Safety kept busy over the weekend with multiple crashes.

Three people were taken to the hospital after their car hit a tree off of West Park St. The car blocked part of the sidewalk and roadway.

While police were on the scene a person approached officers saying their car was tuck in a ditch further down the street.

When responders arrived to the second crash, they realized the car was teetering between the rear passenger side tire and the front driver side tire and moving it created the risk of the car sliding down the steep embankment. The driver was still inside the vehicle.

Crews were able to stabilize the car and rescue the driver with the help of a ladder truck and tow truck.

Grants Pass Police shut down traffic along West Park St. while both accidents were taken care of.
