CENTRAL POINT, Ore. — Three suspects are now in police custody following an armed robbery in Central Point near Honeytree Lane. The incident was reported to the Jackson County Sheriff's Office (JCSO) on Thursday around 8:30 p.m.
According to JCSO, 35-year-old James Ward, 35-year-old Trevor Ettinger, and 26-year-old Desiree Conley (all from Medford) attempted to steal a car at gunpoint from outside of a residence. The victims reported that one of them was struck in the face with a handgun during the course of the robbery.
The three suspects were able to commandeer the car, and fled the scene before deputies arrived. After subsequent investigation with the aid of other law enforcement agencies, JCSO said that they have located and arrested all three suspects in the incident.
The investigation is still ongoing, according to JCSO.
