GRANTS PASS, Ore. — Thousands of people lost power on Wednesday morning in Josephine and Jackson counties, Pacific Power confirmed.
According to the company, approximately 45,756 customers were impacted by the outage between Grants Pass, Gold Hill, Cave Junction, and the surrounding areas. Pacific Power said that it was sending out crews to investigate and make repairs.
By roughly 12:45 a.m., the company's outage page showed the outage shrinking down to just over 2,000 customers.
Spectrum also sent out a message to customers in the area notifying them of a service outage.
