MEDFORD, Ore. — Medford Fire-Rescue (MFR) responded to a fully-engulfed house fire at 424 Bowmont Circle on Wednesday around 4:15 p.m.
There were four people in the home, but all of them were brought out safely. MFR and the Medford Police Department (MPD) evacuated the entirety of Bowmont Street as a precaution.

The home was completely gutted by flames, and a neighboring home incurred fire damage as well. Fire crews focused their efforts on defending the nearby structures.
MFR upgraded the fire to a 3-alarm fire as it grew and consumed the first home.
Investigators will be working to figure out how the fire began, however neighbors reported seeing smoke beginning to rise from a motor home parked next to the home.
