CENTRAL POINT, Ore.-- The 19th annual NewsWatch 12 Sportsmen's and Outdoor Recreation Show begins Friday with everything you need for the great outdoors. You can see hundreds of exhibits, displays and attractions representing the outdoor recreation industry from boating to hiking to guns and even taxidermy all weekend. The show's President of Exposure Joe Pate said he expects to see about 15,000 people step foot in the Jackson County Expo over the next three days.

"We try to reflect the outdoor interest of the market. If there's a certain interest in camping, hunting, backpacking, hiking, fishing, we try to have all of that represented here,” Joe Pate said. “I like to call it a glorified sportsmen's fair and it absolutely represents the [outdoor] culture.”

The Sportsmen's and Outdoor Show starts Friday, February 22nd and runs until Sunday the 24th. It's $8 for adults and $1 for kids ages 6 to 12. Kids 5 and under are free.
