MEDFORD, Ore-- Some dogs from the Southern Oregon Humane Society now have their forever home.

Saturday was one of their adoption events. There were more than a dozen dogs at Triple A RV's Center in Medford. Triple A RV donated $100 for every dog adopted.

Newswatch 12 learned what that money will be used for. "Everything, food supplies and helping funding other events we do. Everything that gets donated to us goes right back in and comes right back out to the animals." said Kristi Walker. She is a volunteer from the Southern Oregon Humane Society.

If you missed the event you can still adopt a dog today! You can go to their shelter on Table Rock Road in Medford. Make sure to bring everyone in your home to meet the new pet including other pets. Walker says this will make a successful adoption.
