ASHLAND, Ore -- The aftermath of Tuesday's storm can be seen and felt in Ashland.
Snow covers most of the ground. Some people walking around are trying to make it to their Thanksgiving plans.
"We were trying to go have a Thanksgiving celebration with our best friends outside Sacramento, California." said Henry and Michelle Ratocoiffee. They are stuck in Ashland after getting turned around on the Siskiyou Mountain Tuesday night. "If we went an hour earlier we would have been trapped. It was just pouring snow."
Henry says he wasn't scared though. "Not really, because we got turned around on the pass so we headed back down the mountain and got a hotel." said Henry.
Another family was stuck in Ashland trying to get to Davis, CaliforniA. They are suppose to meet family for Thanksgiving. They turned getting stranded in Ashland into fun. "Went out to dinner last night and went to the theater. We went ice skating today and shopping." said Mike and his wife.
The plan for both families is to wake up on Thursday morning and start the drive over the mountain to make their Thanksgiving Day plans.
