CAVE JUNCTION, Ore. -- The Illinois Valley Fire District says a small grass fire ignited last night, August 5, at 10:30 p.m. on Althouse Creek Road.
Units from the Illinois Valley Fire District and the Oregon Department of Forestry responded. Crews say the fire only grew by approximately 1/4 of an acre before units got a wet line around it.
The cause of the fire is under investigation by ODF.
