YREKA, Calif. — Siskiyou County Public Health is following up its vaccination event at the end of January with a second dose clinic for those who received it the first time.
The clinic on January 22 drew crowds early that morning, to the extent that public health officials cut off newcomers before the event officially began at 10 a.m. Siskiyou County said that 1,146 people received their first doses at the clinic.
Another event is scheduled at the Siskiyou County Fairgrounds for Friday, February 12 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. This event will be only for those who received their first dose of the Pfizer vaccine on January 22, and appointments are required. Attendees are also asked to go to the event page and complete the required paperwork.
