KLAMATH FALLS, Ore. -- Two men were killed and another injured in a shooting at Fairview Park in Klamath Falls on Wednesday morning. By that evening, authorities said that a 22-year-old woman had been taken into custody.
The Klamath County District Attorney's Office says that police responded to the shooting at 12:45 a.m. When officers arrived at the scene, they found the two men already dead and a third man suffering from gunshot wounds.
The wounded man was taken to the hospital with injuries that were not considered life-threatening, according to the DA's Office.
Authorities activated the Klamath County Major Crime Team to respond to the double murder, with Klamath Falls Police Department taking lead on the investigation. By 4:45 p.m. on Wednesday evening, the DA's Office identified the victims and said that a suspect had been taken into custody.
31-year-old Christopher Gregory and 43-year-old Donald Cheatham Jr. were killed in the shooting, while 28-year-old Sean Dalton Brazil-Gates remained in the hospital in stable condition.
Police arrested 22-year-old Gillian Bradley in connection with the shooting, although the DA's Office referred to her as an "involved party." She faces charges for murder, conspiracy to commit murder, attempted murder, unlawful use of a weapon, hindering prosecution and tampering with evidence. Bradley is expected to be arraigned tomorrow at 1:30 p.m.
There are currently no other suspects identified in the case, and police were unable to say what precipitated the shooting. Investigators remained on the scene into Wednesday evening.
