OREGON -- Senator Ron Wyden joined his first virtual town hall of 2021 this morning on Facebook Live, hosted by the Town Hall Project.
While he addressed the riots that took place at the capitol and expressed concern for the safety of Americans, he also addressed the pressing concerns of rural Oregonians.

He says information about vaccine distribution within the state must be equitable.
“…You just don't recover from this virus until every American and every Oregonian, who wants the vaccine, can get one no matter where they live and vaccinations are moving at a slower pace than anticipated,” Wyden said.
Senator Wyden says he has been in touch with the Operation Warp Speed general to ensure Oregonians get the facts about supply, when they will have access to a vaccine, and how many vaccines are on the way.
He will make his next town hall appearance on Facebook Live this Thursday, January 14th, for Lane County.
