GRANTS PASS, Ore. – Rural Metro Fire says the Oregon Department of Forestry is mopping up a 1.5 acre fire on Walker Mountain in Josephine County.
This is Northeast of the Colonial Valley. Rural Metro Fire says fire poses no threat to homes in the area of Granite Hill and Winona Roads.
There is some smoke from the low-intensity fire. It is being pushed into low areas due to stagnate air. The smoke is expected to be visible as mop-up operations continue.
