Siskiyou County, CA - Out of the 20 lightning fires that sparked over the last 10 days in the rogue river Siskiyou national forest, only 3 of them are still active.
As of today, 17 out the 20 wildfires in the forest have been put out thanks in large part to quick responses by firefighters controlling these fires before they could get out of hand.
For now, officials are closely monitoring burnt areas and using resources at their disposal to prevent any further fires.
According to the latest update from U.S. Forest Service, the only active fires in the forest are the Bear Camp, Maple Dell, and Deadhorse fires.
Although fire crews say that those three fires are now in the containment process.
