CRATER LAKE, Ore.-- Visitors to Crater Lake National Park can once again drive up to Rim Village. The section of road between the lower park visitor center and Rim Village had been closed for nearly a week.
The National Park Service says a week of stormy weather dumped seven feet of snow on the park.
The road is icy. The Park Service says chains or traction tires are required.
You can access Crater Lake National Park from the west or south. Oregon Department of Transportation crews have been able to reopen Highway 62. A section of Highway 230 west of the Park is still closed, according to TripCheck.
