MEDFORD, Ore -- Back in 2017 Stephanie Mendenhall and her husband started a local nonprofit to help people who are struggling with addiction get off the streets and into treatments.

Reclaiming Lives serves as a resource center and a way to build lifelong connections.

“Reclaiming Lives is really about people who are struggling through addiction and helping them find their purpose through recovery planning and long term support,” said Stephanie Mendenhall.

They are now getting ready to open a Recovery Cafe.
Recovery Cafe comes is based out of Seattle that's been in place for more than 15 years.
The cafe is all about connecting people in their recovery process.
