JACKSON COUNTY, Ore.-- A Facebook post by Rogue Retreat caused Karen Kahn and her husband to reach out.
The post they saw asked if anyone had a trailer they'd like to donate to families who lost their homes in the Almeda fire.
"We use the RV probably 3 times a year, so we thought it would be in such better use for a family to use it everyday." said Kahn.
Without hesitation, the Khan's donated their trailer to Rogue Retreat, where a family from the Phoenix-Talent school district would receive it.
Volunteers with Rogue Retreat say that the school district has done an incredible job finding housing for families in need.
The non-profit adding that they are hearing from many community members on how they can help out.
Trailer and RV donations can be given through Rogue Retreat or contact Krystal Perkins Krystal@RogueRetreat.com for more information.
