Police seek man accused of stealing $100,000 in items from elderly man

MEDFORD, Ore. — Police are asking for help from the public in locating a man accused of stealing $100,000 worth of property from an elderly victim, the Medford Police Department (MPD) posted on Wednesday.

58-year-old Randell Lee Thomas has several outstanding felony warrants for his arrested, all stemming from the same theft case that detectives have been investigating since February.

"He is accused of stealing a large amount of gold coins, two guns, and other property from an elderly male victim on Lawnsdale Drive in Medford," MPD said.

Thomas is described as being 6'1" and 190 pounds. MPD said that he has been known to frequent the Trail area and the Oregon coast.
