GRANTS PASS, Ore. — Police in Grants Pass are attempting to track down the suspects in a reported drive-by shooting that happened on the north side of town in June.
The Grants Pass Department of Public Safety said that it received a report about the shooting shortly before 9:45 p.m. on June 10. According to the report, two women in a vehicle passed by five men in the 2000-block of NW Hawthorne Avenue, yelling at them before firing several rounds.
After shooting at the men, the vehicle continued northbound on Hawthorne Avenue, with shots fired at two more people along the way.
GPDPS said that no one was injured in the shooting, and the vehicle was seen fleeing away on NW Vine Street.
According to the reports, there were two women in the vehicle. Police have no description of one woman, but the other was described as a woman in her 20s with medium complexion, heavy-set, average height, and long dark hair in a ponytail.
The vehicle was described as a dark four-door sedan, possibly a 2010-2015 model, with tinted windows and quiet exhaust.
