UPDATE: Waldie has "returned home and is safe," according to GPDPS.

INITIAL REPORT: The Grants Pass Department of Public Safety (GPDPS) is asking for help from the public in locating a woman who went missing after leaving her home on Tuesday morning.
44-year-old Michele Waldie reportedly left her home in the 1700-block of Harbeck Road on foot. According to GPDPS, Waldie is autistic but high-functioning.
"She is able to do normal everyday things like care for herself/family. Michele is not able to drive and will likely be on foot or with someone else in a vehicle," the agency said.
Waldie is described as 5'6" and about 160 pounds with auburn hair and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing black pants, a black jacket, and a hat of an unknown color.
