SALEM, Ore. — Four suspects have been cited after a four-month long investigation into the poaching of several animals in Lake County. The investigation began when an Oregon State Police (OSP) trooper found a trophy-class buck deer shot near Cabin Lake Road.

40 year-old G.W. Fulfer, 27 year-old Samantha German-Fulfer of Salem—as well as 55 year-old Scott Harris of Albany, and 19 year-old Jacen Fulfer of Lebanon—have all been cited for crimes including felon in possession of a firearm and a number of wildlife crimes. Search warrants were served at all three homes, which provided investigators with evidence of poaching.

The OSP Fish and Wildlife offices of LaPine, Klamath Falls and Salem coordinated their efforts to find the suspects. OSP are asking that anyone with information regarding the unlawful killing of game call the Fish and Wildlife tip hotline: 1-800-452-7288

Rewards are being offered for tips which lead to the successful arrest or conviction of an offender. For the largest game, these rewards go as high as $1,000, with smaller amounts on offer in cases of smaller game.
