MEDFORD, Ore.-- Hundreds of events in southern Oregon have either been postponed or canceled because of the efforts to slow the coronavirus.
Instead of canceling, this year's Pear Blossom Run is going virtual.

Organizers say it's a great option because it allows them to continue the tradition, even if people have to be isolated, quarantined, or alone.
"We understand how disappointing this is and we know many of you have trained hard for this event. We also know that feeling you get when you accomplish something challenging. Physical exercise is so important for stress management and good for the immune system," the organizers said in a statement.
You can register for the run online. You'll get your bib packets mailed to you. Runners have between April 11 to April 30 to complete either the 10-mile or 5k race.
You can do the run outside or on a treadmill.
