PPE giveaway for Jackson County Businesses

The Jackson County Expo will be handing out PPE supplies based on the amount of employees a company has. The event will last for three days.

CENTRAL POINT, Ore. -- Business owners will have access to personal protective equipment, but how long supplies last depends on the type of company you have.

Business Oregon and the Jackson County Emergency Operations Center are distributing another allotment of PPE 7:30 A.M until 10:30 A.M. Monday and Tuesday, May 17/18, businesses can visit Jackson County Expo at 1 Peninger Road, Central Point, Oregon 97502 to receive surgical masks, 2 L pump sanitizer, sanitizing wipes, and Gloves (non-sterile).

Director for the Jackson County Expo, Helen Funk says, “The money actually came out of care dollars given by the governor to be used for PPE to be given to small businesses.”

Anyone coming to pick-up supplies should enter through gate 3. Funk says, “Once you drive in, you’ll see a sandwich board that you text in the name of your business and the number of employees you have and we'll bring out a pre-packaged box of goodies just for you.”

If you have questions or need to coordinate a pick-up, you contact the Jackson County Expo at (541) 774-8270 or email JC_EOC_Logistics@jacksoncounty.org.
