Oregon ranks in the top 20 states for best community colleges

A WalletHub 2019 study ranks Oregon as the 17th best state for community college systems.

WHITE CITY, Ore.,--One year of community college is nearly 3 times less expensive than a year at a public four-year college. Oregon has 17 community colleges statewide, and 60 campuses and centers. 

WalletHub compared 710 community colleges using 19 different factors. It looked at data set ranges from the cost of in-state tuition and fees to student-faculty ratio and graduation rates.
