Oregon State Police investigating abandoned motorhome fire

I5 SB near exit 55 in Grants Pass, was briefly reduced to one lane as crews put out the fire.

GRANTS PASS, Ore -- Oregon State Police has taken over the investigation into a motorhome fire on I-5 southbound near exit 55. 

Rural Metro and the Grants Pass Department of Public Safety responded to the fire just before five a-m. Crews say that there were no injuries, and the motorhome was empty. 

Rural Metro Fire also tells Newswatch 12, that the motorhome has been sitting on the side of the highway for about a week. 

I-5 southbound is back open, and there are currently no delays.
