ASHLAND, Ore--- The Oregon Shakespeare Festival starts the Green Shows Friday, at 6:45 p.m. on the "Bricks."
The Green Shows will be held four nights a week, at 6:45 p.m.
The shows are all free.
In August, all of the Green Shows will be of local performers. This is a way the festival wants to celebrate our local communities.
It is also an attempt to reduce a carbon footprint, by not having performers travel from long distances. Another way they are reducing the carbon footprint, is by implementing the livestream for the shows.
