PORTLAND, Ore. -- Girl Scouts of Oregon and Southwest Washington (GSOSW) along with Girl Scouts of the USA are making sure scouts can stay connected and engaged in programming while maintaining social distancing.
NewsWatch 12 reached out to GSOSW and spoke with their Director of Communications, Sarah Shipe on NewsWatch 12 a 6:00 to learn more about the programming.

Shipe says the programming is focused on STEM topics, civic issues and the outdoors.
The GSOSW chapter also participated in a "Camp In Campout" which was a virtual campout for girls and their families across the region. Shipe says more than 3,000 people participated, including people from the other side of the world.
