JOSEPHINE COUNTY, Ore. — Josephine County Public Health says an additional person has tested positive for coronavirus.
This brings the total number of cases on Sunday, May 3rd to 22. The public health department is contacting people that may have been exposed to this individual.
In total, the county has tested 1,277 people and only 22 have tested positive. 12 out of the 22 people have recovered. One person has died because of complications of the coronavirus. The public health department says more samples have been sent to labs for results.
