JACKSON COUNTY, Ore -- Oregon State Police seized nearly 20 pounds of meth and more than $16,000 in cash during a traffic stop.
A trooper stopped a pickup truck along I-5 near milepost 39 on Tuesday afternoon. OSP says the trooper searched the car after they observed "signs of potential criminal behavior."
Seized during the search was 19.7 pounds of methamphetamine, and $16,660 in cash.
The suspects, 25 year old Leonel Campos-Valdez and 24 year old Francisco Vazquez-Cruz were booked in the Jackson County Jail, and are facing, unlawful possession of methamphetamine, unlawful delivery of methamphetamine, and money laundering.
