GRANTS PASS, Ore. — A traffic stop in Josephine County led a state trooper to seize duffle bags full of marijuana apparently bound out of state, according to Oregon State Police.
On Tuesday, an OSP trooper stopped the driver of a 2020 Chrysler van on I-5 northbound just north of Grants Pass. According to the agency, the trooper saw "several signs of criminal activity" and decided to search the vehicle.
During the search, the trooper reportedly two large duffle bags full of about 132 pounds of marijuana.
The driver, 52-year-old Bryant Oglen of Wisconsin, reportedly told the trooper that he had flown into Medford and had planned to drive back home to Wisconsin.
