JACKSON COUNTY, Ore -- Jackson County Public Health says there are no new cases of coronavirus in the county for Sunday, April 19th.
The total number of cases in the county is 48. Also, no fatalities have been reported.
There is an update from Saturday's case. On Saturday, April 18th one new case was reported in Jackson County. Jackson County Public Health says Saturday's case was transferred to another state after residency was confirmed. This is why the total number of cases in the county has decreased from 49 back to 48.
"Staying home as much as possible during this time and practicing physical distancing remains an important strategy. Under Governor Kate Brown’s executive orders that are in place to reduce the spread of COVID-19 in our communities." said Jackson County Public Health.
