EUGENE, Ore. – A man who allegedly climbed onto a railroad sign and threw rocks at people while naked is now facing charges in a string of incidents, police said.

Brandon Jackson, 39, was arrested following a 13-hour standoff with police in the 200 block of Washington Street in Eugene on Tuesday morning. Police said he fought with police dog "Cwyk" when he was taken into custody, reportedly putting the animal in a headlock before punching him several times.

Jackson was arrested on charges of second-degree assault, reckless endangering, first-degree criminal trespass, first-degree criminal mischief (vandalism), public indecency, and second-degree disorderly conduct.

Before climbing naked onto the railroad sign, police say Jackson hit a 61-year-old man in the parking lot of 7-Eleven on W. 7th Avenue early Monday morning, stealing the victim's property. Jackson faces first-degree robbery and second-degree assault in the case.

The day before that, police said Jackson shoplifted at Walmart on W. 11th Avenue and was contacted by an employee outside the garden center. The stolen property was recovered. He faces a charge of second-degree theft from the incident.

Police said he also faces charges of second-degree theft and second-degree criminal mischief from an incident on March 13 in the 1300 block of Mill Street. Police said he broke the rear window of a Honda and stole an instrument from the vehicle.
