WASHINGTON — Special counsel Robert Mueller did not find Donald Trump's presidential campaign conspired with Russia during the 2016 election.

Summarizing Mueller’s main conclusions, Attorney General William Barr said Mueller also didn't have sufficient evidence to prosecute the president for obstruction of justice but he did not exonerate him.
The report does not recommend any further indictments and there's no sealed indictments that haven't been made public yet.

The 22 month investigation led to charges against 37 defendants, which included six Trump associates, 26 Russians and three Russian companies.

Seven people have pleaded guilty and one was convicted at trial.

Oregon lawmakers are responding to Barr's summary. Congressman Greg Walden released a statement that reads in part, "I supported Robert Mueller's appointment as special counsel and consistently supported ensuring his two-year investigation was free from any political influence. His exhaustive work makes clear President Trump and his campaign did not collude with the Russians. Period"

Senator Ron Wyden also responded but called for more of the report to be released, tweeting, "Barr made it clear before he was nominated that he didn't think Trump committed obstructed justice, they need to be made public. Now."
