MT. SHASTA, Calif. — Officers with the Mt. Shasta Police Department arrested a local man on Monday morning on suspicion of sharing child pornography, the agency says.

On September 13, Mt. Shasta Police received a cyber-tip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC) reporting that an IP address within the Mt. Shasta city limits had been uploading child pornography.

Launching an investigation, police eventually narrowed the uploads down to "an unmarked address in the alley" behind 305 Russell Street.

At 7 a.m. on Monday morning, officers from Mt. Shasta Police, members of the Sacramento Internet Crimes Against Children task force, and a deputy from the Siskiyou County Sheriff’s Office raided the unmarked address.

At the scene, Mt. Shasta Police said that they arrested 56-year-old Bradley Stilley and found more than 10,000 suspected child pornography images. Stilley has been booked into jail for Possession of Child Pornography and an additional charge for Possession of Child Pornography for more than 600 images.

"This case is still under investigation and anyone with further information is encouraged to contact Officer Moore at (530)926-7540/ Case Number 19-6212," the agency said.
