MT. ASHLAND. Ore. -- Mt. Ashland Ski Area will open for the 2020-2021 season tomorrow, December 18th at 9 AM. The mountain will only be open to season pass holders on opening day then open to the general public on Saturday.
All four lifts will be running tomorrow, but the bowl will likely not be open.
General Manager Hiram Towle said via a Facebook LIVE that over 4,000 season passes were sold ahead of this season. He told season pass holders, "you stepped up, you supported us even with all these uncertainties and all of these changes due to Covid. So as a reward, day one is for you!"
When Mt. Ashland opens to the general public on Saturday, December 19th, it will be open from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. daily through January 3rd.
