Mt. Ashland Closed For The Day Due To High Winds

Mt. Ashland announced they will not be opening on Friday, December 14th due to high winds.

ASHLAND, Ore. -- Mount Ashland has announced through a Facebook post that the ski area will be closed on Friday, December 14th due to high winds.

Ski area manager, Hiram Towle says in the Facebook post that the winds are impacting the lifts and making them unsafe to operate. The ski area plans to open back up tomorrow once the winds settle.
