ASHLAND, Ore.-- The Mt. Ashland Ski Area is asking for your help to reach its $125,000 fundraising goal. Right now, it's about $15,000 away.

Earlier this month, local business leader Sid DeBoer and his wife Karen offered to match $100,000 in donations made in December.

When Mt. Ashland reached its original $100,000 the DeBoers agreed to match another $25,000.

So far, the ski area has raised $110,000 towards its goal.

The money donated to Mt. Ashland will go towards ski lodge renovations.

This weekend, you can check out some of the improvements that have been made so far.

On Saturday, Mt. Ashland is once again opening the Sonnet Terrain Park.

It'll be open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

The Terrain Park is free to pass holders and $10 for other guests.
