Months-long investigation leads to drug-related arrest in Grants Pass

Grants Pass Police arrested Joseph Gargano Thursday after investigating him for several months.

GRANTS PASS, Ore. -- Grants Pass Police have arrested a man they say was selling methamphetamine and heroin. RADE detectives had been investigating 48-year-old Joseph Gargano for several months. 

On Thursday, September 5, police executed a search warrant at a home on New Hope Road in Grants Pass. Officers found more than a half pound of meth, a quarter ounce of heroin, scales, packaging material, and more than $2,000 in cash. 

Police also found a gun. 

Gargano is facing multiple drug-related charges as well as a felon in possession of a firearm. 

During the investigation, police also arrest Justin Sidener and Timothy Messer. They were arrested on warrants and parole violation detainers.
