MEDFORD, Ore. — Investigators with the Medford Police Department (MPD) are looking for more information on a car "chase" between two drivers in downtown Medford on Tuesday night.

The agency said that a video was posted to the Jackson County Scanner Group on Facebook showing the drivers of two damaged cars chasing one another through the streets of downtown Medford. Several people called in the incident to police, but MPD said that it did not get any calls that seemed to be from the people involved.

"What we know is the incident started on Franquette Street at about 7:53 p.m., where the vehicles were reported to be intentionally running into each other," Medford Police said.

The vehicles were an older Subaru and a white Escalade, according to MPD. The two drivers continued chasing one another through downtown Medford, at one point driving the wrong way on Riverside Avenue.

The driver and any passengers in the Subaru abandoned it on Stewart Avenue near the railroad tracks after it became disabled, MPD said. Police never located the Escalade.

"If anyone has information, please contact us. Case 19-20765," MPD said. "Thank you."
