U.S. Marine Corps Lance Cpl. Victor Rangle makes connections as a ground electronics transmission systems maintainer with Combat Logistics Regiment 2, 2nd Marine Logistics Group.
This month he’s connecting Afghani refugees with the supplies they need as they relocate from their Taliban-held homeland.
Rangle is a Medford, Oregon native featured in an image Thursday on Marine Corps Base Quantico, Virginia, as part of Operation Allies Welcome - Operation Allies Refuge.
Lance Cpl. Rangle was unloading supplies for Upshur Village on the Marine Corps base. He’s part of a U.S. Department of Defense effort, through U.S. Northern Command, and in support of the Department of Homeland Security, to provide transportation, temporary housing, medical screening, and general support for at least 50,000 Afghan evacuees at suitable facilities, in permanent or temporary structures, as quickly as possible. This initiative provides the Afghans with essential support at secure locations outside Afghanistan.
