CENTRAL POINT, Ore. -- The Central Point School District says they will continue to provide free meals to students throughout the year.
The school district says that the grab and go meal service will start back on September 8th.
“We're fortunate that USDA extended waivers, allowing us to serve all kids, kids one through 18 for free to continue our grab and go sites. We'll continue the express with the bus stops,” said Anne Leavens, the Central Point School District Nutrition Services Supervisor.
The school district says that they will be serving the same way they have been since March.
There is also an option for families who prefer a once a week pick up of meals.
