GOLD HILL, Ore---According to a Facebook post by the Jackson County Sheriff's Office, a man as been arrested in Gold Hill after breaking into a woman's house.
The post says that Micah James Farely broke into a woman's car, garage, and house.
The post also says a female victim was alone at her house on Galls Creek Road, and called 911 because she has heard someone break into her car and garage. After that, the victim thought James had left the area. She later found him in the house. The victim then hid in the house until deputies arrived.
When deputies arrived, they were able to help the victim out of the house. Farley remained inside and barricaded himself in. The post says that Deputies tried to use a loudspeaker to communicate with Farely in an attempt to have him exit the house, but he refused to leave.
A Jackson County Sheriff's Office K-9 went into the house with an arrest team. Pepper spray was eventually used.
The post says that Farely had multiple rounds of ammunition a holster, but a fireman was not found.
The Jackson County Sherrif's Office says Farley was wanted on a state-wide felony warrant for failing to appear on a prior Burglary 2, Theft 1, Unauthorized Entry into a Motor Vehicle and Trespass 2 in Jackson County.
Farley was additionally charged with Burglary 1, Theft 2, and Unauthorized Entry into a Motor Vehicle.
