ASHLAND, Ore.--An Ashland Middle School teacher is also a Jeopardy contestant.
Tuesday night, Bob Julian, a social studies teacher, will be making his debut in the Teacher’s Tournament on Jeopardy.
He says he's been trying to land a spot on the show for 10 years.
His persistence has paid off.
Bob Julian says, "I've always dreamed about being on it, I thought I could do just as well as some of the competitors I see on there."
Each teacher on the show was given a twenty-five-hundred-dollar grant from State Farm.
Bob is using his grant to get new atlas books for all of the social studies teachers at Ashland Middle School.
